Greetings to all Rottweiler-people at home and abroad!

The Finnish Working Rottweiler Club was born out of the sincere will of its founding members to cherish the working qualities of the breed-standard Rottweiler and to enhance the status of the Rottweiler as a versatile working dog. Our founding members all have years of experience with the breed working it in various sports-trials from tracking to IPO and from search&rescue to SchH.

Promoting the interests of those wanting to work their Rottweilers and preserving working qualities of the breed is a matter of heart to all of us. We firmly believe that educating the average Rottweiler fancier in responsible ownership and supporting all those working their Rottweilers benefits not only the owners and fanciers but also the general public. Rottweiler is a working dog that deserves to stay that way.

Our board members´ long and versatile experience in dog-sports as trainers and competitors as well as our active work in breed associations and clubs make it possible for us to really work toward the total good of the Rottweiler.  Our international network also guarantees an open point of view toward all of our operations.

Our comprehensive and frequently updated website will provide information on the breed, working trials, training and trialing.

INTERNATIONALITY

On our website one will find details on all national and international events concerning the Rottweiler. We aim to expand our international network to further enhance the cooperation of Rottweiler trainers, breeders and owners for the total good of the Rottweiler. We will support and campaign to make it possible for Finnish Rottweilers to compete in the international arenas. Our club is supported by notable experienced expert members. 

TRAINING AND EDUCATION

We will produce high-quality seminars and training camps held by experienced trainers and will work to organize introductory trips to various Rottweiler events home and abroad.

DEVELOPMENT

We are dedicated to informing, educating and supporting the average Rottweiler-fancier in training their Rottweilers. We aim to help Rottweiler-owners to find their way to training fields and realize the full potential of their Rottweiler.

NETWORKING

We consistently work to create and maintain close contact with the police, border guard and army to ensure that more Rottweilers are found working for the good of the public in the future.

We will strive to create the best possible conditions for the Finnish working Rottweiler and add some kick and joy to all Rottweiler activities, human interaction, international cooperation and friendship home and abroad.
